The Sr. SAP IBP Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions.
This role requires the following: a deep understanding of supply chain planning principles, strong analytical skills, and expertise in leveraging SAP IBP modules to drive business value. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure seamless integration and optimal utilization of our IBP landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead/participate in the end-to-end implementation of SAP IBP modules, including but not limited to: SAP IBP for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Facilitate the S&OP process, including Consensus demand Process, Constrained and Unconstrained Supply Process
- SAP IBP for Demand: Design and configure demand planning processes, including statistical forecasting, demand sensing, and consensus demand planning.
- SAP IBP for Response & Supply: Implement supply planning, response management, and rough-cut capacity planning functionalities to optimize production and distribution.
- Conduct in-depth business process analysis and gather requirements from various supply chain functions (e.g., demand planning, supply planning)
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions within SAP IBP, including model configuration, planning area design, key figure definitions, attribute setup, and planning operator development.
- Perform data integration activities between SAP IBP and other systems (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP BW, non-SAP systems) using SAP Cloud Platform Integration – Data Services (CPI-DS) or other relevant tools.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans (unit, integration, user acceptance testing) to ensure the functionality and performance of configured solutions.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for SAP IBP applications.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration guides, test scripts, and user manuals.
- Train end-users and provide guidance on SAP IBP best practices and functionalities.
- Stay current with SAP IBP latest features, releases, and industry trends, assessing their impact and recommending adoption strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, project managers, and external consultants.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the SAP IBP solution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with 8+ years of hands on experience in SAP IBP modules
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of multiple SAP IBP modules (e.g., S&OP, Demand, Response & Supply)
- Strong understanding of core supply chain planning processes (Demand forecasting, Supply planning, S&OP).
- Experience with data integration tools, specifically SAP CPI-DS.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently
- Strong stakeholder management
- SAP IBP certification(s) is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methodology is a plus
- Experience with other SAP Modules (SAP- PP, MM, BW, SD) is a plus
- Candidates must be comfortable & willing to work in US time zone
- Proficient in English is a must as candidate will be working with global stakeholders
