RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- The Project Manager (PM) will drive the execution of programs and work directly with the Product Line Managers to meet schedules and remain under budget while exceeding customer expectations
- The PM should have experience successfully communicating internal assessment of program proposals to customer-facing Account Managers and key functional team managers/directors
- The PM will also be responsible for ensuring close interaction and coordination between the programs and manufacturing operations, including Design, Assembly, Test, Quality, and Logistics functions; functions are often not co-located, so successful management of local teams in Hanoi along with remote team (including international teams in US and China) and effective meeting management are critical to success
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelors Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Engineering or equivalent with 5 or more years of experience in program/project management
- Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred
- PMP certification will be an added advantage
- Technical experience (e.g., design, product engineering, applications engineering, etc.) will be desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must
- Ability to read and understand customer drawings and specification required
- Ability to coordinate discussions and action plans with internal engineering, operations, and business unit teams required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project
- Proven ability to influence and drive internal suppliers and customers and cross-functional teams without formal authority
