SUMMARY:
We are actively looking for an accountant who is energetic and willing to learn and work in multiple areas of Finance. This position will be based in Vietnam office and reports to Finance Operations Lead, primarily responsible for APAC accounts payable and process improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Executing daily Accounts Payable activities (such as vendor invoice/employee expense processing, payment processing, review transactions for accuracy, review and responding to internal and external supplier/audit inquiries)
- Executing monthly Accounts Payable close activities as needed, such as manual journal entries and assisting the Accounting Team with close inquiries, reconciliation of vendor statement of account and month-end account reconciliations
- Ensure SOX and policy compliance for all AP related tasks
- Ability to resolve issues independently
- Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and communicate those effectively and providing required expertise to create processes and resources to address these areas
- Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Self-starter with good problem-solving and time-management skills
- Experience with SAP, Kofax ReadSoft is highly preferred
- Highly organized, detailed oriented and deadline focused
- Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Fluency in written and spoken English
