Decawave is a pioneer in ultra-wideband (UWB) technology and provider of UWB solutions for mobile, automotive and IoT applications. In February 2020 the company became part of Qorvo and with that the Ultra-Wideband Business Unit (UWBU) within Qorvo Mobile Products



Qorvo is seeking an early career Test Engineer to enable the validation, characterization and qualification of the company’s Ultra-WideBand (UWB) transceiver development.



  • Design, develop and implement cost-effective test solutions for RF Automated Test Equipment
  • Support production for customer sampling, ramp-up, production release and qualification
  • Evaluate and qualify IC package options for NPI product
  • Develop test plans based on product specifications, quality requirements and application requests
  • Write production and characterization test programs for NPI products
  • Perform data analysis (Cp, Cpk, histograms, gages)
  • Ensure cost optimization through yield improvement, test time reductions and other cost-saving activities



  • Minimum Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering or related field
  • Semiconductor test knowledge in RF, mixed signal and digital
  • Proven skills in, test software programming, statistical analysis
  • Experience using a range of lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers etc. an advantage
  • Experience with low power wireless standards and protocols an advantage
  • Ability to work with various groups located in all parts of the world and flexibility to travel for production and customer support
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
