Test Engineer, Internship

NOTE: Because this is a student internship, candidate must be a currently enrolled student in a degree-seeking accredited program. 

 

Job Summary: 

  • Create an electrical test system and software to measure 100% of Qorvo products before they ship to our customers 

  • Measure the product using test equipment like spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators and digital pattern generators 

  • Develop measurement automation using C++ and Microsoft C#.NET along with custom tools 

  • Develop product interface fixture to probe the product using Altium Designer and Keysight ADS 

  • Engineers in this position commonly interact with product engineers and manufacturing 

  • Provide clear and concise reports using latest data analysis tools 

 

Desired Degree: 

  • BS or MS Electrical Engineering 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Student must have completed some analog/RF circuit design course work 

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as VB.NET, C# or other object-oriented language is required. SQL a plus 

  • Ability to use data visualization tools such as Spotfire, Jump or Excel and presentation tools such as PowerPoint 

  • Must have a 3.0 GPA or Higher

  • Self-Starter with good communication skills 

  • Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information 

  • Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products 

  • Be able to enjoy working in fast paced work environment
