Qorvo is seeking a Product Quality Engineer to support new product development activities for the Advanced Cellular Group business unit.  As a PQE you will interact with many different engineering organizations and various management positions as a representative of the Quality organization.  You are expected to be a successful leader of cross functional investigations, understand development and manufacturing processes. 

This is a hybrid role where the expectation is to be onsite four days in our Greensboro NC office.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership regarding qualifications 
• Use Potential Problem Analysis techniques to identify and resolve product and technology reliability risks 
• Define qualification plans and schedules, and drive execution to support timely product releases 
• Lead or participate in problem resolution teams for complex technical issues 
• Ensure an excellent customer experience with Qorvo products at assembly and in the field 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field  
• 8+ years of related work experience in the semiconductor field
• Understanding of semiconductors and RF devices
• Experience with semiconductor fabs and fabrication processes
• Data analysis experience using JMP or Spotfire
• Experience with 8D, A3, 5-why problem solving methodologies
• Project management experience
• Some knowledge of semiconductor design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

•  Data mining experience with Databricks or SQL
• Project management experience with Wrike or MS Planner
