Sr. Test Engineer

Senior Test Engineer:  Be part of a team supporting product development of 5G mmWave products targeting high-end mobile handsets. This includes developing automated RF test solutions to support design engineering, transitioning designs into high volume production, and improving existing solutions.



  • Designs, develops, and implements methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product engineering development
  • Setup, maintenance, and calibration of an RF test bench and network analyzers
  • Tuning of circuits to optimize circuit performance and meet customer specifications
  • Collecting, filtering, and documenting large amounts of data
  • Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products
  • Generate supporting data for test system correlation and verification
  • Reviews product test specifications and applicable test equipment requirements and assist with supporting documentation
  • Troubleshoot test software for device verification



  • BSEE/BSEET/BSCE with a focus on RF required
  • 5+ years’ experience in testing of microelectronic RF assemblies, including Power Amplifiers, Low Noise Amplifiers, RF Switches, and integrated Front-End Modules
  • Demonstrated expertise developing automated test solutions incorporating RF/mixed-signal test and measurement equipment
  • Software Competence desired: C++ / C# / .NET
  • Hardware Competence needed: Spectrum Analyzers / Vector Network Analyzers / Power Meters / Signal Generators / Digital I/O / Oscilloscopes / Power supplies / Couplers / Isolators / Filters / Duplexers
  • Good understanding of cellular power amplifier performance test techniques/methodologies
  • Ability to analyze test solutions to optimize performance and throughput
  • Read and interpret technical documents including schematics, datasheets, and procedures
  • Strong track record of independently analyzing test data and assessing compliance with performance requirements. This includes effective troubleshooting skills to isolate test failures/anomalies and to develop recovery action plans
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information
  • Strong desire to collaborate with a team and drive continuous improvement
