DUTIES: Lead the collection, validation, and analysis of ESG and sustainability-related data across the organization. Ensure that all data received is accurate, complete, and aligned with relevant reporting standards, while implementing robust data controls to minimize errors and maintain data integrity. Work closely with internal stakeholders and leverage third-party sustainability platforms to manage ESG data systems and support external disclosures, ratings, and audits. Contribute to the development and writing of the company’s annual sustainability report, ensuring that all data and narratives are accurate, compelling, and aligned with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD. Support the preparation of disclosures for ESG rating agencies and platforms including CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics, and ISS, while staying informed on evolving ESG trends and regulatory requirements to continuously enhance the organization’s reporting practices. Calculate and document Scope 3 GHG emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol. Collect and analyze data across the value chain, collaborate with internal teams and suppliers, and ensure transparency through detailed documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and emission factors. Support the integration of Scope 3 data into internal company reporting as well as external reporting like annual sustainability reports and climate-related disclosures. Conduct lifecycle assessments (LCA) and develop methodology for calculating PCFs to evaluate environmental impacts across the product lifecycle. Gather and analyze data from internal systems and teams, covering raw materials, production, distribution, use, and end-of-life stages. Document the entire process in line with GHG Protocol standards and contribute insights to product development and sustainability strategies. Play a strategic role in identifying and initiating sustainability and ESG-related projects within the company. Assess operational areas for improvement, propose impactful initiatives, and model the financial and environmental return on investment (ROI) of these projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with corporate goals and long-term sustainability objectives. Benchmark best practices, conduct research and attend industry association meetings to identify areas of opportunity within the company. May work from home office and anywhere in the U.S. where Qorvo has a manufacturing office (i.e., Texas, Oregon, North Carolina, or Florida).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Masters’s degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, and 1 year of experience to involve: (1) knowledge and working understanding of Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) and Sustainability as well as ESG reporting standards (SASB, GRI, etc.); (2) knowledge and working understanding of Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD); (3) strong comprehension of math and data modeling related to ESG metrics; (4) calculating scope 3 emissions for a semiconductor company; (5) knowledge and working understanding of Greenhouse Gas Protocol Scope 3 standard; (6) ability to calculate, document & present on applicable scope 3 emissions; (7) working with climate-related modeling tools and open-source databases related to calculating Green House Gas (GHG) emissions; (8) calculating Lifecycle assessment (LCA) of a product or Product carbon footprint (PCF); (9) maintaining accurate ESG related data in third-party systems / ESG software. May work from home office and anywhere in the U.S. where Qorvo has a manufacturing office (i.e., Texas, Oregon, North Carolina, or Florida).
