Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a key support role within our inventory and materials management operations. This position is responsible for fulfilling engineering and assembly component requests, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials to support prototype and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull and prepare components for assembly and engineering kits based on prototype and engineering requirements.
- Fulfill engineering component requests, including specialized materials such as wafers, die, and laminates.
- Perform regular storeroom inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy and support inventory control initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for walk-up customers, providing prompt and accurate component fulfillment.
- Identify and report bill of material (BOM) discrepancies and support corrections through the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate material availability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom environment in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or technical/community college coursework preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with SAP and MES systems is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Highly detail-oriented, quality-conscious, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Must be available to work the 2nd shift schedule and attend training during the 1st shift.
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
