Staff Development Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide development engineering and production support for discrete and/or integrated RF Front-End products, including RF Power Amplifiers, switches, filters, antenna tuners, digital, power management, or other functions
• Interface with Design, Fabrication, Test, Applications, Product Management, and Quality Engineering teams to develop high yielding products and resolve manufacturing issues
• Ongoing cost reduction and yield improvement efforts throughout product life-cycle
• Manage, schedule, and support design centering activities during the ramping phase of new products
• Determine test coverage and collaborate with Test Engineering in developing high volume production test plans, hardware, and software
• Assist Quality teams with product qualification during development and after release in support of electrical pre & post testing, failure analysis, 8D reports, and material disposition

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with RF Front-End components or other wireless communication devices and technologies required
• Experience with product development, qualification, or transition from prototype to production required
• Proficient use of Statistical Analysis tools such as JMP, Spotfire, R, Minitab or others required
• Familiarity with RF Front-End component manufacturing preferred
• Proficient in use of SQL, R, Python or JSL language preferred
• High Volume Production Test, Fab Processing, and/or Quality Engineering experience desirable
• BS in Physics, Electrical Engineering preferred; Masters in Electrical Engineering desirable
• 10+ years industry experience required
