Sr Process Development Engineer - Photolithography

The individual in this position will be responsible for maintaining production processes for a high-volume compound semiconductor fab and for developing new and advanced processes to support new product initiatives.

This position will report to a Process Engineering Manager.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process monitoring, initiating and qualifying continuous improvement projects, process documentation, skills training, technical mentoring, and production support through operations technicians
  • Work with other groups within the Wafer Fab including manufacturing, equipment engineering, and device engineering
  • Utilize sound problem-solving methodologies to support process improvements and to utilize statistical methods to ensure process control

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS degree is required in engineering or physics; MS preferred
  • Prefer 5 years of wafer fab process engineering experience
  • Familiarity with other common semiconductor processing techniques, such as liftoff, sputter, dry etch, wet etch, ion implant, ion milling, electroplating and evaporation desirable
  • Working knowledge of compound semiconductor and acoustic filter device physics is preferred
  • The successful candidate will have strong problem solving skills and a solid understanding of statistical control techniques
  • This individual will need to be capable of establishing control and monitoring systems for support of high volume manufacturing 
  • Solid interpersonal skills and cross-functional effectiveness are critical
