As the Sr. Manager for SAP IT Supply Chain Management at Qorvo, you will lead the global SAP SCM strategy, manage a high-performing team, and collaborate with stakeholders to align SAP initiatives with business needs. You will oversee agile IT solution delivery, drive continuous improvement, and manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity across SAP systems.

 

This is a hybrid position where the current expectation is three days a week in our Greensboro NC office. However, this is subject to change based on business needs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP Supply Chain (SCM) Strategy: Develop and execute the global SAP SCM strategy in alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in SAP supply chain area with core module expertise of SD, MM, PP, QM, LE including hands-on knowledge of implementation with integrated systems and SCM processes in IBP, Ariba, GTS, Icertis 
  • Team Management: Build, lead and manage a high-performing Global SAP IT SCM team. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to cross functional team members. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including business leaders, and IT teams, to understand business requirements and align SAP initiatives with business needs. Effectively communicate the value of SAP solutions and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels 
  • Best in class service delivery: IT solution delivery leveraging agile methodology focusing on velocity, quality and scalability through a team consisting of both internal resources and third-party AMS suppliers. Oversee the process for the demand intake, prioritization, and delivery of incremental releases of functionality using lean principles. Negotiate delivery priorities with multiple business and/or business solution teams
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest advancements and trends in SAP technology and best practices. Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to drive business value. Develop and own IT standard work processes, role definition, define KPIs, identify areas of improvement, systematic problem solving and a continuous improvement mindset using Lean Principles. Lead in developing and maintaining high quality of IT documentation
  • Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with SAP solution providers, system integrators, and consultants. Evaluate and select external vendors as needed. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met
  • SAP System Governance: Establish and maintain effective governance processes to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity across SAP systems. Develop and implement best practices, standards, and policies for SAP system management
  • Budget and Resource Management: Support develop and manage the SAP SCM budget, including forecasting and cost control. Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of SAP SCM initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. 
  • 12+ years of experience in SAP system management in supply chain area
  • 5+ years of management experience with direct reports where you were responsible for their performance and development
  • In-depth hands-on configuration and functional knowledge of Core SAP modules like SD, MM, PP, QM, LE, including but not limited to Supply Chain, Order to Cash, Manufacturing, Logistics Execution and Finance business process expertise
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal, and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to effectively interact with senior executives and business leaders
  • Big Picture and Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions leveraging Fit To Standard, keep the core clean mindset
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, AMS teams and budget management
  • Ability to travel about 15-20% of the time

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience in leading S4 HANA projects is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated Project experience in supply chain management area with hands-on knowledge of IBP, Ariba, GTS, Icertis
