We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Enterprise Business Systems PMO and Process Governance function. This role requires a strong background in SAP, proven leadership of global and offshore teams, and deep expertise in project and portfolio management methodologies including Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and Waterfall. The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering enterprise-scale solutions, managing third-party vendors, running scrums, and driving operational excellence through KPI/SLA-based support models. The candidate must also be comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments and have strong experience establishing and governing standard work and processes.

 

This is a hybrid position where the current expectation is three days a week in the office that can be based in Greensboro NC or Hillsboro OR. However, this is subject to change based on business needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Enterprise Business Systems PMO, ensuring successful delivery of strategic initiatives and alignment with business goals.
  • Establish and enforce process governance standards across enterprise systems.
  • Define, implement, and govern Lean practices, standard work and operational processes to drive consistency, continuous improvement, efficiency, and quality.
  • Manage and mentor a global team, including offshore third-party resources, with full responsibility for hiring, performance management, and team development.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP and enterprise application projects, ensuring technical and functional alignment.
  • Apply and promote Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
  • Facilitate and lead scrum ceremonies, ensuring Agile best practices are followed and delivery remains on track.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across IT, Finance, Sales, HR, and Operations.
  • Lead change management initiatives to support adoption and minimize disruption.
  • Manage KPI/SLA-based operational support, ensuring high system availability and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage SOX compliance activities related to enterprise systems, including IT controls implementation, documentation, and audit support.
  • Lead vendor management and strategic contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with business objectives, service quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee Op-ex and Capex budget planning and management, ensuring financial accountability, forecasting accuracy, and alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on project status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Thrive in and adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • 12+ years of hands-on project management experience in Enterprise Business Systems
  • 5+ years of management experience with direct reports where you were responsible for their performance and development
  • Experience managing SAP projects from technical and functional expertise (e.g. ECC, S/4 HANA, etc.)
  • Proven experience managing global and offshore teams, including third-party vendors
  • Demonstrated success in KPI/SLA-driven operational support environments
  • Hands-on experience leading scrum teams and facilitating Agile ceremonies
  • Deep understanding of Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong background in change management and stakeholder engagement
  • Proven ability to establish and govern standard work and process frameworks
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Experience managing compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR)
  • Experience managing vendors and budgets

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • PMP, SAFe Agilist, Lean or Scrum Master certification strongly preferred
  • Experience with tools such as Jira and ServiceNow
