This position is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial results and managing general ledger accounting activities, including month-end close, expense reviews, prepaid amortization, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple currencies. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and SOX requirements while driving process improvements and efficiencies.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting and work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and global accounting partners.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis across multiple currencies, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
• Analyze financial results, research accounting issues (including ASC 830 for foreign currency), and support new accounting standards implementation.
• Oversee SAP and Blackline master data management, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
• Collaborate with global finance teams to standardize financial processes, conduct balance sheet reviews, and support M&A activities.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives in financial reporting and accounting workflows.
• Prepare and review financial disclosures for external reporting and support special projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience doing V-Look Ups and Pivot Tables within Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with cross functional teams to get data inputs
• Experience applying US GAAP principles

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA and/or MBA
• Experience in public and/or private accounting
• Experience working within SAP and/or Blackline.
• Experience working with global finance teams and multi-currency transactions
• Bookkeeping experience, including recording and reviewing monthly journal entries.
• Reconciliation experience, including preparing and analyzing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
