Project Summary

Assist product management team to support production ramping of new products, and maintenance of existing products that are in mass production.   Assist product management team to validate improved manufacturing processes to maximize assembly yield, and alternate sourcing activities: coordinate DOE's, assembly builds, tracking and monitoring of materials.  Transcribe existing standardized work and assist in generating undocumented standardized work into Qorvo format and upload to DocCenter.

 

This is a full-time Intern position located in Greensboro, NC. The position will be temporary in nature and last approximately 3 or 6 months. 

 

Desired Degree

  • CS (Computer Science)
  • EE (Electrical Engineering)
  • IE (Industrial)
  • ME (Mechanical)

Qualifications

  • General understanding of RF components
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools a plus
  • Knowledge of Lean concepts a plus
  • Knowledge of documentation such as ECOs and PCNs a plus
  • Knowledge of project and product management
  • Professional skills in interacting with business partners and customers

Responsibilities

 1. Assist product management team to support improvement to manufacturing processes to maximize assembly yield
2. Assist in validating second source activities: coordinate DOE's, assembly builds
3. Tracking and monitoring materials necessary for 1 & 2.
4. Transcribe existing standardized work and assist in generating undocumented standardized work into Qorvo format and upload to DocCenter.  
5. Bill of Materials maintenance

NOTE: Because this is a student internship, candidate must be a currently enrolled student in a degree-seeking accredited program.
