Product Engineer, Internship

NOTE: Because this is a student internship, candidate must be a currently enrolled student in a degree-seeking accredited program. 

 

Job Summary: 

  • Leads yield improvement efforts across manufacturing process of assigned products 

  • Provides yield plans to meet company yield targets 

  • Conducts data analysis/mining/extraction utilizing statistical methods and related software tools 

  • Ensures data accuracy through correlation between test platforms and maintains product history and documentation 

  • Develops test plans for prototype and production electrical testing of wafers and/or packaged devices  

  • Interface with Design, Fab, Test, Applications, Product Management, and Quality Engineering teams to support in the development of high yielding products and resolve manufacturing issues 

  • Support ongoing cost reduction and yield improvement efforts throughout product life cycle 

  • Collaborate with Test Engineering in developing high volume production test plans, hardware, and software 

 

Desired Degree: 

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering  

 

Qualifications: 

  • Student must have completed some analog/RF circuit design course work 

  • Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as, spectrum analyzers and network analyzers preferred 

  • Software Exposure: ADS, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, Dynamic Link 

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

  • Strong collaboration skills  

  • Self-Starter with good communication skills 

  • Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information 

  • Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products 

  • Be able to enjoy working in fast paced work environment
