NOTE: Because this is a student internship, candidate must be a currently enrolled student in a degree-seeking accredited program.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to design of antenna switches and impedance tuners using Cadence and ADS tools
- Meet performance requirements while also considering size, cost, footprint, and schedule
- Work as a member of a team to contribute design schematics, simulations, and real lab data
- Work with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters to compare simulated data to real lab data and assist in product evaluation for customer samples
Qualifications:
- BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- Student must have completed some analog/RF circuit design course work
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as, spectrum analyzers and network analyzers preferred
- Software Exposure: Cadence, ADS, HFSS, Momentum,
- Strong collaboration skills
- Self-Starter with good communication skills
- Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information
- Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products
- Be able to enjoy working in fast paced work environment
