SUMMARY:

Qorvo is seeking an accomplished sales leader to develop and grow the business with one of Qorvo’s Global Accounts.  This person will be a Global Account Manager responsible for managing all of Qorvo's product engagements and revenue at the account across multiple business units and multiple customer locations. The position is based in California, and this person will be responsible for both account strategy development and implementation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Strategy:  Develop and execute 3-5 year account strategy, and drive product roadmaps and custom product developments across multiple business units to service the account.
  • Sales Enablement:  Ensure the right systems and individuals are in place within the sales and supporting teams to support the account goals.
    • Collaborate with Design and Applications Engineering to ensure we have the right capability for technical promotion and design in support.
  • Sales Execution:  Execute the sales strategy to deliver on the revenue, design win and market share goals
    • Work with business units to prioritize, appropriately resource and win major opportunities at the account.
    • Provide inputs to marketing and technology development on roadmap and product needs to expand business opportunity at the account.
    • Develop and maintain sales funnel and forecast within Salesforce.com.
    • Drive business opportunities from concept through to design win.
    • Conduct opportunity reviews with Business Units and design teams to improve the quality of our sales funnel, and as a tool to mentor/coach.
    • Monitor and report on sales dashboards to ensure revenue and design wins are “on track”, and drive recovery plans when “off track”
    • Strong coaching and leadership skills.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates are expected to have extensive experience in technology sales management and/or marketing, and demonstrate a very strong track record of success. Major account management experience is required. Strong leadership skills and a strong competitive spirit are a must.

 

  • At least 10 years of experience in technology sales management
  • Experience in leading major accounts
  • Extensive experience in leading and executing negotiation strategy
  • Detailed understanding of sales process, forecasting and sales management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of RF products, manufacturing flow, and systems level understanding is a plus
  • Ability to build cross-departmental support teams (engineering, quality, marketing, sales, and supply chain) to effectively sell to and support the customer
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels (both internal and external)
  • BSEE or equivalent degree is a requirement; MBA or MSEE is a plus

 

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $186,200 - $242,000, relevant for the California Bay Area (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
