Job Title: Test Technician

Role

Test technician based at our offices in Dublin Ireland looking after a busy IC test development Lab which is in the process of adding new handling equipment.

Operation of our lab equipment i.e. Synax S9 pick and place handler, Tel 12” wafer prober, Cohu Diamond X Automated Tester Equipment (ATE), In-Test test head manipulator, air compressor and miscellaneous electronic meters and Oscilloscopes.

Testing protype samples and performing qualification testing.

PCB debug and repair, assembly of load boards and operation of solder station equipment.

Running of the lab process’s (E.G  5S’s) , ordering of spares, interacting with suppliers, keeping the Lab safe and tidy.

Regular maintenance of Lab equipment to manufacturers specifications.

The Person

Motivated, organised, accurate, customer focussed, communicative and tidy. This is a single position role looking after a wide range of equipment in our Lab, the person will need to be self-reliant and interactive with our internal production expertise based in Greensboro, USA.

Qualifications And Experience

Minimum of level 7 or equivalent, coupled with 5 years’ experience using equipment such as pick and place handlers and or wafer probers in the IC industry. 

Experience of running a busy lab and keeping the equipment available.
