Qorvo’s Test Engineering Internships are offered in our Connectivity and Sensors business groups.  Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.


Responsibilities may include:

  • Gain experience and working knowledge of how UWB IC’s are manufactured and tested.
  • Get hands on experience working on a high-volume tester.
  • Creation of automated test software, using language similar to C, to control test equipment and execute test plans.
  • Support RF fixture design activities including PCB design and layout, test socket design and interface cabling design.
  • Process, verify and analyze the measured data; produce clear concise presentations and reports.
  • Document test system and software designs
  • Migration of laboratory techniques into high-volume test solutions.
  • Creation, debug, analysis, rework and repair of test hardware.
  • Sourcing of test engineering supplies.
  • Report and present out at the end of the internship on the work performed.



  • The successful candidate should have completed their Bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 in Electrical engineering. or equivalent and be enrolled in an MS or PhD program.
  • The student must have completed course work and show good understanding of Analogue and/or RF circuit design.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor devices and Analogue/RF measurements is required.
  • Experience of data and statistical analysis
  • Good grasp of digital electronics, hex and binary number systems.
  • Familiarity with MS-DOS / Linux commands and scripting.
  • Good communicator with an eagerness to learn, solve problems and make an impact.
