ATE test development engineer developing production test solutions for ultra-wideband product portfolio. The position is 100% on site at our Dublin Ireland facility and is an ideal opportunity for your first work experience in RF.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be involved in the validation, characterization and qualification of Qorvo’s UWB transceivers.
  • Creation of automated test software, using language like C, to control test equipment and execute test plans.
  • Support production for customer sampling, ramp-up, production release and qualification.
  • Evaluate and qualify IC package options for NPI product.
  • Help with the definition of test strategies and DFT (Design for Test) in collaboration with design teams.
  • Development of test plans based on product specifications, quality requirements and application requests.
  • Support RF fixture design activities including PCB design and layout, test socket design and interface cabling design.
  • Writing of production and characterization test programs for NPI products.
  • Data Analysis, process, verify and analyse the test data; produce clear concise presentations and reports).
  • Cost optimization through yield improvement, test time reductions and other cost-saving activities.
  • Migration of laboratory techniques into high-volume test solutions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering or related.
  • Semiconductor knowledge in RF, mixed signal and digital an advantage.
  • An interest in root cause analysis, test software programming, statistical analysis.
  • Ability to work with various groups located in all parts of the world and flexibility to travel for production and customer support.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
