Decawave is a pioneer in ultra-wideband (UWB) technology and provider of UWB solutions for mobile, automotive and IoT applications. Decawave was founded in 2007 and has deployed chipsets in more than 40 different market verticals – from smartphones to drones. In February 2020 the company became part of Qorvo and with that, the Ultra-Wideband Business Unit (UWBU) within Qorvo Mobile Products

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gain experience and working knowledge of ultrawideband sub-systems, as well as analogue/mixed-signal and RF circuits.
  • Design, simulate, verify and document innovative RF/Analog blocks/subsystems/transistor circuits in leading-edge CMOS technology, such as LNA, PA, Oscillators, PLL, bandgap, DC-DC, ADC, DAC, etc.
  • Report and present out at the end of the internship on the work performed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The successful candidate should have completed their Bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 in Electrical engineering. or equivalent, and be enrolled in an MS or PhD programme.
  • The student must have completed course work and show good understanding of Analogue and/or RF circuit design.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor devices and Analogue/RF measurements is required.
  • Students with Cadence experience and RF simulation tool experience preferred.
  • Good communicator with an eagerness to learn, solve problems and make an impact. (and be part of something special)
