Qorvo’s Device Engineering Internships are offered in our Global Operations and High Performance Analog business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Responsibilities may include:

Involvement with Known Good Die (KGD) & Automated Optical Inspect (AOI) map classification, yield monitoring and yield improvement projects

Supporting Fab operations by maintaining and improving Yield web reports
-
Helping to develop and improve KGD & AOI map classification and convoluted neural network pattern recognition tools

Enhancing Fab data collection by implementing barcoding into new process areas, working with IT team to calculate, store and use reticle statistics
-
Analysis and correlation of test data to fabrication process

Developing and improving semiconductor fabrication flows and processes, in some cases
Qualifications:
-
Currently pursuing a BS, MS, PhD in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Strong statistic data analysis skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of SQL preferred

Self-Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong organization skills and attention to detail
