Manager of Global Power IC Design


Requirements of the Role:


Qorvo is seeking a Manager of Global Power IC Design to lead our worldwide analog & power management IC design team. This leader needs to have a unique mix of skills and experience. They will work with the product line’s business leaders to set both tactical and strategic direction for the design organization. They must be able to communicate with both internal and external customers.  They must have demonstrated experience with organizing a large team spread across multiple time zones.


Other areas of experience for this candidate should include management of mixed-signal and digital front-to-back design flows, as well as leading a team of IC layout engineers. The candidate must also have experience designing products for a variety of end markets, including mobile, ASIL-C and D- rated automotive, and medical or wearable devices.


The candidate should have in-depth technical experience with multiple power management architectures, including charge pumps, battery chargers, and buck-boost/boost/buck converters using a variety of modulation schemes (constant on-time, valley current mode, PFM/PWM, etc). This candidate also needs experience with high-SNR ADC design, ESD strategy, and high-performance analog blocks such as TIAs, VCOs, PGAs, and low-noise, high-PSRR LDOs.



  • Minimum of 10 years of IC design experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years of analog & power IC design leadership experience
  • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university

Travel requirements include visits to our Asian design center.
