Summary:
The IT Programmer/Analyst Intern will have assigned action items selected from our Help Desk Support System and our Change Request System, accordingly with his/her skills, knowledge and reasonable priority. The Intern will receive instructions from his/her mentor or leader, as well as guidelines about best and common practices followed in the company, and the deadlines to meet.
All changes to code performed by the Intern will be logged as usual for other developers.
Responsibilities:
- Work on daily trouble shooting for end users on specific responsible systems to support factory timely w/o business interruption, e.g., user Q&A, problem solving, etc.
- Perform daily system maintenance, e.g., account access, termination, system configuration, routine healthy check, etc.
- Plan, organize and conduct required training for end users, especially new system or features to deliver, frequent issues logged in service now ticket system, etc.
- Follow IT change management standard procedures to perform required software development work to meet end user needs with quality. (documents, and coding).
- Keep leaning IT popular techniques and adopt the standard solution to the popular end user requirements, e.g., Tableau for data analysis and reporting service, workflow platform for approval and collaboration, etc.
- Embrace lean culture to explore continuous improvement ideas, and put it into daily work, e.g., drive process improvement, risk mitigation, etc.
Qualifications:
- Web development experience with knowledge in some of the following areas: HTML5, JavaScript, JSON, ASP.NET MVC, IIS, python.
- Experience on .Net/C# MVC development.
- Experience on MS SQL SERVER database.
- Experience on .NET Framework and .NET Core/.NET5+.
- Experience on Source Control systems, e.g., GitLab.
- Intermediate English level (CET-4 as reference)
- Open mind and customer service oriented
- Fast learning capability for new knowledge
