We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to develop, configure, and maintain the software toolchain used throughout the embedded software development lifecycle. This role will partner closely with software architects, developers, testers, and engineering teams to improve development infrastructure, automate workflows, support CI/CD execution, and ensure reliable tools and platforms for project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and maintain the software development toolchain across the full lifecycle, including requirements management tools, architecture tools, version control, build systems, test suites, release infrastructure, and project delivery platforms.
  • Build and maintain scripting, integrations, and automation between requirements tools, architecture tools, code repositories, build chains, automated test environments, code generation workflows, and cross-compilation platforms.
  • Administer and improve development infrastructure, including Git repositories, branching strategies, access rights, tool integrations, CI/CD pipelines, pipeline monitoring, and ongoing process improvements.
  • Configure, integrate, and support static and dynamic analysis tools, artifact management platforms, databases, and other engineering tools used to improve software quality and development efficiency.
  • Manage software tool licensing, cost tracking, roadmap support, data retention, replication, and long-term availability of project assets and development infrastructure.
  • Partner with software project teams, senior engineers, developers, testers, and internal engineering customers across regions to understand project needs, provide technical support, and improve tooling, automation, and overall development efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience or an equivalent amount of advanced education and experience supporting software development infrastructure, DevOps platforms, cloud-native tools, CI/CD environments and Terraform.
  • Experience working in embedded software development environments, including build systems, scripting, compilation toolchains, and C-based development.
  • Experience integrating and supporting engineering tools, including analysis tools, ALM or bug tracking systems, databases, artifact management platforms, and architecture tools.
  • Strong ability to execute in a fast-paced, cross-functional engineering environment while supporting internal customers and collaborating across regions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working in an automotive software development environment.
  • Familiarity with ASPICE or similar software development process frameworks.
