Join Qorvo’s EDA team as a Physical Verification Engineer focused on enabling design verification flows for RF ICs, acoustic wave (SAW/BAW) devices, and multi-technology modules. This role offers an opportunity to work on advanced EDA flows, automation, and cross-domain engineering challenges.
This is an onsite position based in our Barcelona office, where the expectation is to be onsite five days a week.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain physical verification rule decks (DRC, LVS, ERC).
- Support verification flows across RF IC, SAW/BAW, and module technologies.
- Collaborate with design, R&D, and process teams to debug and improve verification methodologies.
- Enhance EDA flows and infrastructure across industry-standard toolsDevelop automation scripts (Python) to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Provide support for EDA tools and internal users
Technical Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required:
- 5+ years of related experience (or an equivalent amount of education and experience).
- Understanding of physical verification concepts (DRC, LVS, ERC).
- Familiarity with EDA tools such as Calibre, ICV, or Cadence PVS/PegasusExposure to RF or EM design tools (Virtuoso, ADS, HFSS, etc.) is a plus.
- Programming experience in Python or similar scripting languages.
- Comfortable working in Linux/UNIX environments
Desired Experience:
- Internship or academic experience in EDA, physical design, or verification.
- Exposure to RF IC, SAW/BAW, or high-frequency technologies.
- Experience with automation or design workflows
Required Education:
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
