Job Title: SAP Technical Manager  

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled, Hands on and proactive SAP Technical Manager  to join our Enterprise Business Systems team. This role requires deep, hands-on expertise in SAP technical skills, along with a strong track record of leading global and offshore teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions and driving operational excellence through KPI- and SLA-based support models.

Success in this role also demands proficiency in running scrums, establishing, and governing standard work practices, and thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments. The candidate should be comfortable collaborating across time zones and geographies and working with cross-functional teams around the globe including US.

 

This is an onsite position based in Bangalore, India, with the current expectation of working five days (5) a week in the office.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 10+ SAP techno-functional and data analytics professionals.
  • Provide oversight for operational support and projects to ensure KPIs and SLAs are consistently met.
  • Drive cross-functional and cross-geography coordination to enable seamless collaboration across global teams.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP PO adapters (AS2,File, JDBC, SOAP, REST, RFC, IDOC_AAE, Rosettanet) and SAP CPI connectors for integrating with cloud and on-premise systems
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols, and standards (EDI, RFC, IDoc, RNIF etc.)
  • Strong hands on experience and proficiency on Data types, Message types , Service interface, graphical mapping. UDF and node functions of SAP Process Orchestration(PO) and Cloud Platform Integrations(CPI)
  • Should be able to perform monitoring for message monitor, channels and Idocs
  • Strong Hands-on experience and skills on RICEFW objects 
  • Experience in developing interfaces using RFC, ABAP Proxy, ALE/IDOCs, EDI, BAPIs, user exit, web dynpro, web services, Odata services
  • ABAP reporting experience includes ABAP OOPs reports - Classical / ALV Interactive Reports
  • Strong Hands-on experience of  SAP PO/CPI components, including integration scenarios, channels, mappings, and adapters

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related fields with Minimum 10+ years of Strong hands on experience in Configuring and maintaining SAP PO/CPI components, including integration scenarios, channels, mappings, and adapters, Developing custom RICEF components in ECC or S/4 HANA
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an SAP Technical Manager in a global environment, managing a team of 10 or more employees.
  • Proficiency in SAP integration concepts and technologies, including Enterprise Services Repository (ESR), Integration Directory (ID), Integration Builder, and SAP Integration Suite
  • Proficiency and expertise in Custom development of SAP ECC or S/4 HANA in the area of Reports, Interface, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms
  • Candidates must be comfortable & willing to work in US time zone to collaborate with Business users, Local IT teams
  • Proficiency in English is required as candidate will be working with global stakeholders
