Summary:

Qorvo has an opening for a Assembly Process Technician at our Richardson TX facility. Candidate must be capable of working within functional teams to support production, process, and development efforts within the assembly organization.

Background or exposure working with back end wafer fabrication processing or semiconductor package assembly which could include: Wirebond, mold, saw singulation

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain processes within the package assembly facility.
  • Position requires working full-time Monday - Friday
  • Primary responsibilities will include developing, qualifying and maintaining wirebond and other assembly processes associated with cutting edge package assembly.
  • Need to work cross functionally with R&M, Manufacturing and Quality to ensure appropriate and timely support of processes 

 

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent military experience
  • Good understanding of semiconductor processing or semiconductor assembly is desired.
  • Strong understanding wafer process or assembly equipment and hands-on experience highly preferred.
  • This role will require supporting a manufacturing facility that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment
  • Some lifting and standing will be required.
  • Strong problem solving skills, and hands on ability are critical to this position.
