Summary:

Qorvo is seeking an Engineering Intern for the Power organization. Qorvo’s Power organization focuses on power conversion using PMICs, Power loss protection, and discrete power supplies to support a wide range of Mobile, Consumer, IOT, and Industrial applications.

Responsibilities may include:

• Hands-on, lab-based power supply testing
• Solder and modify boards
• Design, build, and test customer power reference designs
• Generate supporting documentation
• Troubleshoot customer failures and support their design process
• Support IC failures
• Work with other organizations to develop cross functional evaluation kits
• Generate and perform evaluation kit manufacturing tests

Qualifications: 

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.5
• Able to read schematics and/or have done analog or power circuit design projects/ PCB design/layout
• Exposure to power measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers preferred, electronic loads
• Be able to work in a lab environment to solder components and modify hardware
• Have strong technical troubleshooting skills to debug design issues
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Self-Starter with good communication skills
• Be able to multitask working on several projects at the same time
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information
• Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products
• Ability to enjoy working in fast paced work environment and as part of a team
