Senior Technical Specialist RF Technician

We are seeking a skilled RF Engineering Technician to support various engineering activities, including design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems and experimental design circuitry. This role requires the use of specialized test equipment and will involve applications in RF, DC, analog, and some digital engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support design, test, and modify prototype electro-mechanical systems.
• Fabricate and assemble experimental design circuitry.
• Utilize specialized test equipment for various engineering applications, including RF, DC, analog, and digital.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting from schematic diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans.
• Spend extended periods using a microscope to work with very small surface mount components.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Extensive hands‑on expertise with RF test and measurement equipment, including network and signal analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and hot‑air rework stations.
• Extensive hand-on expertise with internal and external impedance matching, Smith charts, and communication standards
• Excellent communication skills are essential

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-year technical degree focusing on RF, electronics, or analog technology

Work Requirements:

• Must be able to work 100% on-site during normal working hours.
• Business conditions sometimes require overtime.
