Qorvo is looking for a highly motivated, hands-on, and experienced Analog Design Engineer.  The work will include creating world class designs for power applications as well as providing mentoring to less senior designers.



  • Work with product definers from business units to refine new product definitions for analog power management ICs.
  • Select the optimal topology and composition of designs to achieve the best possible performance, yield and testability.
  • Lead, train, and coordinate with designers in Asia.
  • Work with test and characterization engineers to develop a thorough characterization and production test strategy.



  • BSEE and at least 5+ years of semiconductor industry experience
  • Solid experience in following areas:
    • DC/DC converters, battery charger, and/or power control experience a must
    • Analog signal chain (data conversion, filters, programmable gain/instrumentation amps, etc) experience a plus
    • New product development – must have experience with spec definition, customer interface, excellent working knowledge of test/qualification/failure analysis
    • Strong leadership ability; must work well in teams and outside the job function; must be able to mentor less experienced engineers
    • Strong design skills and layout expertise is required
    • Track record of innovation and creativity
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language
      • Chinese or Vietnamese language a plus
      • Possible travel to Asia to work with teams in Vietnam and Shanghai
