RF Component Engineering Technician

Looking for a team-based individual to tune, test and troubleshoot industry leading Cellular based prototype RF assemblies. Must be an energetic self-starter with multi-tasking skills.



  • Support RF engineering activities through design, tuning, test, verification, and assembly of prototype of cellular based RF products.
  • Characterize RF Evaluation boards for communication applications.
  • Setup, calibrate, and perform large and small signal measurements.
  • Assist in determining actions to improve designs and troubleshooting issues.
  • Pull data from database and plot results for review by engineers and managers.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; Interact effectively with engineering in a team based environment.




  • Associates degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering preferred or related discipline with 3-5 years RF experience required.
  • Knowledgeable in use of Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, Probe Stations, O-Scopes, Multi-meters, and Specialized testing systems for characterizing power amplifiers, LNAs and passive components.
  • Skilled at soldering SMT components down to 08004, including BGA and LGA packages.
  • Must have good troubleshooting skills to diagnose problems down to root cause of component failures and equipment limitations.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Spotfire, Windows OS, and software interfaces.
  • Basic programing skills in Python, C++, or Visual Basic a plus.
