Power Management Systems Engineer - Product Definer

Summary:
Fast-growing Programmable Power Management division focusing on Power management, Power loss protection, and Battery Charger solutions for a wide range of Mobile, Consumer, IOT and Industrial applications is looking for an experienced System engineer to define next generation power management solutions and to drive direct engagement with our strategic customer base along with supporting new product & IP development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with customers, marketing, and sales teams to define next generation high performance analog DC/DC power management products including product architecture, specs, system, and product competitive analysis.
- Develop and release highly valued and differentiated DC/DC products to the market on-time and under budget.
- Generate datasheets, application notes, promotion materials and product competition analysis.
- Validate and troubleshoot new products on bench.
- Provide technical support and training seminars to key customers, field application engineering, marketing, and sales teams
- Work with test and characterization engineers to develop a thorough characterization and production test solution.
- Provide system level solutions to customers, application engineers and sales teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSEE and at least 5+ years or MSEE degree with 3+ years of experience in power supply or semiconductor industry
- Solid hands-on experience in DC/DC, PMIC, battery charger.
- Deep knowledge of power conversion topologies, power management systems and control theory.
- Must be self-motivated and results-oriented team player.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to travel internationally to support customers and collect market information.
- Strong bench work skillset of prototyping and debugging application systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at various development stages.
