About the Qorvo Software Working Group (QSWG)


When you work with QSWG, you are part of a team of that’s defining what’s next in wireless communications. Centered around game-changing Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology, QSWG is enabling new applications in a multitude of markets, from mobile phones, gaming and smart home to education, healthcare, automotive and industrial manufacturing—just to name a few. And some of the applications aren’t even defined yet. That’s where you come in.



Linux Developer:

  • Linux Kernel Development
  • Work with complex algorithms and data structures, write code from the ground up and test and improve existing code.
  • Participates in multidisciplinary research and collaborates with hardware & software engineers in the design, development and utilization of Qorvo products.
  • Work with configuration and management tools as requested by managers, including defect tracking tools and peer reviews.
  • Work within a team demonstrating a knowledge of best practices for full development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing and operation.
  • Design, develop, test and debugs software.






  • Master’s degree in a related field of Study or equivalent
  • 3+ years Linux Development experience.
  • A proven track record demonstrating the ability to work autonomously as well as a demonstrated background operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of C is mandatory.
  • Experience in the Linux kernel development and kernel driver development is required.
  • Strong capabilities in Kernel debugging.
  • Knowledge of the Android kernel is a plus.
  • Knowledge of standard such as IEEE 802.x, 802.15.4 is a nice to have.
  • Business level English is required.
