Job Summary:
Qorvo's EDA Software team is seeking a talented software engineer intern. The ideal candidate chosen for this role will work on improving the software infrastructure around our RF products and BAW technology development efforts. The candidate will use Python, Rest APIs, and C++ in conjunction with existing Software and APIs.
Responsibilities:
- Development of integrated GUI’s
- Creating custom Python applications
- Software API call analysis and benchmarking
- Documentation following the teams Design document practices
- Determining operational practicality
- Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems, or issues
- Writing and implementing efficient code
Qualifications:
- Degree: Computer Science (College of Engineering)
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases
- Good Python/C++ programming capabilities
- Length (9 months availability: Full time first 3 months, part time last 6 months)
- Moderate Version control skills utilizing Git
- Strong familiarity with the use of IDEs
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data-structures
- Good understanding of Multithreading paradigms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, independent, proactive, detail oriented, and responsible team-player
