Qorvo’s Applications Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, and Connectivity and Sensors business groups.  Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.



  • The successful candidate should have completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronic engineering. or equivalent and be enrolled in an MS or PhD programme.
  • The student must have completed course work and show good understanding of wireless systems including analogue/RF, digital and communications theory
  • Familiarity with semiconductor devices and Analogue/RF measurements is required.
  • Familiarity with wireless communications protocols would be an advantage as would knowledge of Python.
  • Good communicator with an eagerness to learn, solve problems, work on today’s most exciting wireless technology and make an impact. (and be part of something special)


Responsibilities/Role description

  • Gain experience and working knowledge of ultrawideband sub-systems, as well as analogue/mixed-signal and RF circuits.
  • Gain experience working with ARM based embedded systems and System-on-a-chip (SOC) supporting cutting-edge UWB radio technology
  • Learn about UWB radio and its utility to support data communications, and two-way ranging and other real time location systems (RTLS) use cases.
  • Design novel experiments to support real-world comms, location and radar applications.
  • Report and presentation at the end of the internship on the work performed.
